INTRODUCTION
Throwing it back to simpler times. You got your copy of J14, grabbed a snack, and feverishly circled your answers to the quiz of the week to find out which member of the Jonas Brothers you were destined to be with (and when it wasn't Joe, strategically going back to change your answers). For Valentine's Day 2025, I wanted to recreate that experience for Studio Spin clients by creating the Studio Spin Perfect Match Quiz. The key demographic of Studio Spin is women between the ages of 35 and 54, with a whopping 70% of Studio Spin's social media following being made up of that demographic. A coach perfect match quiz is unlike anything other studios have done in the past or are doing currently. I wanted to create something to give our key demographic a shoutout, while also creating something engaging and fun to boost social media engagement and show non-followers what sets us apart from the other guys.

CONCEPTION AND DESIGN

The goal of the quiz was to be presented to users in two formats: a reel to boost social engagement and a live website where users could follow along and write down their answers (just like the good ol' days!) to calculate whether they got mostly As, Bs, Cs, and so on to find their perfect coach. The coaches were interviewed via typeform and all designated a letter to correspond to their answers. All answers were then rewritten in the voice and style of this type of magazine quiz.
